CEO, Matt Kobayashi
Mr. Kobayashi started his career as an attorney but his passion moved him towards the technology space. Over his 20 year career, his focus was specifically in large scale innovative renewable power projects to support smart cities and Internet of Things through Artificial Intelligence. Mr. Kobayashi has developed and successfully launched multiple businesses here in the United States and Asia including Japan, Korea, India, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam. He is currently an adviser to multiple technology firms including Silver Spring Networks. In addition to his technology background, he also was course developer for the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center leveraging AI and has advised at Universities for Unmanned Research Programs. Mr. Kobayashi received his law degree from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College.
Acting CTO for U.S. and Europe, Didier Lacroix
Mr. Lacroix brings 25 years of successful technology experience to RoboSensing. Most recently, he was the CEO of BentoAI launching AI-enhanced, self-powered IoT products and cloud services. Mr. Lacroix was co-founder of TeraDeep where he led the company in securing funding to build an accelerated cloud computing solution for DeepLearning and was selected by Amazon Web Services to join their early FPGA cloud program. In addition to being CEO and VP of several firms specializing in AI startups and semiconductor applications, Mr. Lacroix has been an adviser for MicroGen Systems and Cambridge Analog Technologies. Mr. Lacroix obtained a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering at Caltech University and a Masters of Science from ESIEE in Paris, France.
